Account & Data Deletion
13: Jack Hunt has two account types, and both can be deleted:
- Guest account: an anonymous identifier created automatically on first launch. It contains no name, email, or phone number.
- Linked account: if you linked your guest account with Apple or Google, the same identity becomes recoverable, so your progress survives a device change.
Deleting from the app (recommended)
- Open the game → Settings → Profile.
- Under Account and data at the bottom, tap “Delete my account and data”.
- Review what is deleted and what stays, tap Continue, then Yes, delete.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. The game does not close afterwards; you carry on from scratch with a new guest account.
One exception: if you are in an online match, deletion is refused (end-of-match rewards and statistics would otherwise recreate the deleted records). Try again once the match ends — within a few minutes at most, as the server completes the match even if you leave the table.
What gets deleted
- Your nickname and its reservation — the name is released and another player can take it.
- Your server profile: coin balance and unlocked cosmetics (themes, decks, pawns).
- Your statistics: matches played/won, hands, Jack-hunt hits, streaks.
- Your recent match history.
- Your leaderboard entries — from current and closed periods; you no longer appear in any ranking.
- Your matchmaking ticket and any invite rooms you hosted.
- Your identity: the Firebase Authentication user and any Apple/Google link.
What stays, and why
- Store purchases. Purchases made through the App Store / Google Play belong to your store account and are not ours to delete. The good news: they come back on a new account via Restore purchases.
- Purchase and rewarded-ad receipts. Technical records that prevent the same payment being processed twice, and defend against fraud. They hold no personal data beyond an identifier.
- Match records of players you played with. Those documents are also their data; the name you used at that table may remain there.
- Short-lived technical logs, kept for debugging and abuse detection, which expire automatically.
Data on your device
Theme, sound, language and gameplay preferences live only on your device; account deletion does not touch them. To remove them entirely, delete the app — everything on the device goes with it.
If you cannot access the app
If you do not have your phone, or you already deleted the app, email atekiandev@gmail.com. If your account was linked with Apple or Google, writing from that account's email address is enough for us to verify you. Requests are resolved within 30 days.
If you never linked your account (a guest account), your identity exists only on that device: deleting the app is enough to remove the data on it. If you want the anonymous record on our server deleted too, reinstalling the app and running the flow above is the fastest route.
